Are you an experienced service\-industry professional looking to take your skills in a new and rewarding direction? We’re seeking a passionate and hands\-on Catering Technician to join our Catering \& Hospitality team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of industry talent. This is a part\-time role working 18\.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Day\-to\-day proactive management of the HR system (PeopleXD) and support the Learning Management System (LMS) platforms \+ other systems as required.
- Assist with the delivery of key HR projects and implementation of systems.
- Ongoing maintenance of the systems to ensure the data within the HR and other related systems is kept up to date and ‘clean’.
- Be the first point of contact for HR systems queries across the college.
- Maintaining system(s), analysing data, ensuring data integrity and running queries.
- Create and manage both regular and ad hoc reports, providing a narrative on trends and reasons.
- Deliver training and technical support to the HR team in conjunction with the IT Systems Trainer.
- Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
- Optimise HRIS processes, integrating new software and performing diagnostic tests.
- Map out process flows and document accordingly.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of people at all levels within the organisation.

Education \& Training
- GCSE 4 – 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths, or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability, and then, if appointed, achieve within an agreed timescale
- GCSE 4 \- 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English, or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability, and then, if appointed, achieve within an agreed timescale
- Recent industrial or commercial experience in an area appropriate to the job specification
- Theoretical and practical knowledge to successfully manage the operation of general technician duties required.
