£14\.55 per hour (£16,243 per year)

We are seeking to appoint an additional staff member to work as part of the catering team based at Freeman College, across all catering locations (College, Café \& Farm). Ideally you will have experience of working in a catering environment and able to manage and prioritise a varied workload. A Food Hygiene certificate would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided.
Experience of working with vulnerable young people with learning disabilities would be an advantage, as you will be required to work with students under the supervision of the Catering Manager. The role may require travel and working across multiple college sites, including locations away from the main college campus.
Main Duties to include:
- Preparation of food and cooking at Freeman College to deliver a lunch time service for students and staff which meets the nutritional needs of the students so they can engage with their education.
- Cleaning of food areas, including the kitchen, its surrounds and equipment.
- Promoting the Seed to Table curriculum through lunches using biodynamic and organic seasonal produce.
- The serving of meals ensuring presentation is to the required standard.
- Assist with washing up, clearing and cleaning duties as required.
- To ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
- A flexible and professional approach to work is required.
