Carer/Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high\-quality support and assistance to individuals in need. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the well\-being and independence of clients by delivering personalised care in a respectful and professional manner, this candidate will also be carrying out cleaning duties, ensuring the home is kept up to hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well\-being.


• Support clients with medication management and health monitoring as required.


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary, ensuring dietary needs are met.


• Accompany clients on outings or appointments, utilising driving skills where applicable.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervisors promptly.


• Uphold safety standards and ensure a clean, organised environment for clients.


• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.


• Cleaning duties within the home.

• Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.


• Prior experience in caregiving or domestic cleaning is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.


• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Reliable, organised, and attentive to detail in all aspects of care delivery.
