Care Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high\-quality support and assistance to individuals in their own home. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the wellbeing and independence of clients through personalised care. Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility


• Support with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met


• Administer medication following prescribed instructions and maintain accurate records


• Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments


• Engage in behaviour management techniques to promote positive interactions and safety


• Support clients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Assist with transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social activities


• Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation


• Follow health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary

Qualifications

• Certification or training in first aid is advantageous


• Valid driving licence for transportation duties


• Strong communication skills and empathetic nature


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed


• All mandatory is provided

This role is suitable for candidates with or without a driving license as we have walking positions available.

Pay: £13\.45\-£13\.70 per hour
