We're on the lookout for someone with great resilience to become a valuable part of our team. The successful candidate will be supporting our wonderful students during the night this may include providing medications, supporting personal care where needed or just making them feel comfortable.
As part of the Residential Student Support Team, you will be vital in helping our students to get the most out living away from home in a safe and supportive environment. You will also be responsible for carrying out any checks required for individual students in a professional and timely fashion throughout the night. It is vital that you accurately record and report students’ needs and progress throughout the night.
Salary: £13\.73 per hour with an additional night supplement of £0\.73 per hour and a unsociable hours supplement of £1\.50 per hour for weekend working
Hours: Full time shifts available
Weeks: 52 per year
Holidays: Annual leave 5 weeks plus 10 days bank holidays

Requirements:

Ability and willingness to assist students with their personal care requirements as needed, whilst maintaining their dignity.
Ability to support students in a way that promotes their independence and development in the education setting
NVQ 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to complete in an agreed timeframe.
Willingness to undertake and achieve Skills for Care Induction Award within 12 weeks if no formal care qualifications.
