Due to continued growth, we are looking for a passionate, organised, and motivated Care Coordinator to join our expanding team.
Role Overview
The Care Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day\-to\-day coordination of care services. You will be responsible for staff rotas, care scheduling, compliance monitoring, and maintaining excellent communication between clients, families, care workers, and healthcare professionals.
This role requires someone who thrives in a fast\-paced environment and has strong leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage care worker rotas efficiently
- Ensure all care visits are covered safely and effectively
- Monitor staff availability, sickness, holidays, and attendance
- Liaise with service users and families regarding care arrangements
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of care staff
- Maintain accurate records using electronic care systems such as PASS or Nourish
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
- Respond promptly to emergencies and last\-minute changes
- Support the Registered Manager in daily operations
- Conduct spot checks, audits, and quality assurance visits where required
- Previous experience within domiciliary care or healthcare coordination
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads
- Knowledge of CQC standards and care compliance
- Good IT skills and confidence using rostering systems
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional on\-call duties
- NVQ Level 3 in Health \& Social Care minimum
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership \& Management or currently working towards Level 5
- Experience using PASS, Nourish, or similar care systems is desirable
