We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Care Co\-Ordinator to join our growing domiciliary care team. As a Care Co\-Ordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day\-to\-day operation of our service. We are seeking an individual who is organised, resilient, and prepared to work hard as part of a dedicated management team focused on driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and maintaining effective care staff rotas
- Matching care staff to clients based on skills, experience, and preferences
- Managing staff availability, holidays, sickness, and emergency cover
- Monitoring care delivery and responding to operational issues promptly
- Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of care staff
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Building positive relationships with clients, families, care staff, and healthcare professionals
- Assisting management with service improvement initiatives and performance targets
Essential:
- Previous experience working as a Care Co\-Ordinator within domiciliary care
- Strong knowledge of rota planning and workforce scheduling
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Good IT skills and experience using care management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting service improvement projects
- Experience with recruitment and staff development
