Care Assistant (Nights)

Job Summary

We are seeking a *Night Care Assistant* for the following following shift:

• 8 pm to 8 am


• 36 hours per week

We require a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high\-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for our service users.

Responsibilities

• Assist our service users with their personal care; including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.


• Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.


• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.


• Adhere to health and safety regulations within our environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferable.


• A good command of English is essential for effective communication with our residents and colleagues.


• Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records using our electronic care planning and medication administration systems.


• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
