Overview
At Infiniti Care we are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high\-quality domiciliary and supported living care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and independence for those in need. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of empathy and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they care for. This role is vital in ensuring that clients receive the necessary care and companionship, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.

Duties

  • Assist with personal care – washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting. Support with household tasks – bed\-making, laundry, and light cleaning

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation and activities that promote mental well\-being.

  • Administer medication in line with care plans.

  • Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes to the line manager and appropriate healthcare professionals.

  • Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities. Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

  • Offer dignified end\-of\-life care, when needed

  • Follow safeguarding policy appropriately

Skills
  • Experience in care (domiciliary, supported living, hospice) is preferred but not essential

  • A compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.

  • Good communication and problem\-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

  • A UK Driving License and own car (preferred)What’s in it for you

Pay Rate
  • £12\.71 per hour plus mileage

Requirements

Your Care Certificate, which includes 15 mandatory standards, is required.

You must have a valid DBS check and proof of your right to work to apply

A UK Driving License and own car

Based in Coventry or Warwickshire or commutable distance

Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
