Hours of work\- must be available to start from 7am and finish 8pm, we would also require some weekend availability\- not that you would be expected to work every weekend.

As a charity organization founded in the 1980s by our Trustee Jeff, we are dedicated to assisting vulnerable adults in living independent lives within their homes and communities. Our services continue to expand, and we provide Person\-Centered Care across Warwickshire.

Responsibilities: In the role of a Community Mental Health Support Worker, you will be instrumental in supporting clients in various aspects of their day\-to\-day lives, including personal care, shopping, bill management, medical appointments, community engagement, and more. Each shift brings unique experiences, offering continuous learning opportunities. Your role involves building reliable and trusting relationships with clients, ensuring their well\-being, and actively participating in their development.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a support environment (1 year minimum).

  • NVQ Level 2 Health \& Social Care (preferred).

  • Own transport is essential; candidates must hold a valid UK driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
Compensation: Pay £12\.71 per hour, along with a mileage allowance of 45ppm.

Training and Development:

  • Paid training for all new starters, including a comprehensive face\-to\-face new starter training program.

  • Continuous learning opportunities for existing staff members.

  • Flexibility is required to attend a 10\-day training session held at our Head Office in Nuneaton.
Please note we do not not have a Sponsorship License, unfortunately we are unable to offer secondary 20 hours employment due to our mandatory training which is full time for 2 weeks.
