Care Assistant (Day \& Night Shifts Available)

9\-11 Howells Crescent, Llandaff, Cardiff, CF5 2AJ

Hours

• Full\-time


• 36 to 48 hours per week


• Day and Night shifts available


• Weekend availability required

Pay

• Self\-employed

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high\-quality, person\-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs.


• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, privacy, and choice.


• Administer medication in accordance with company policies and procedures where appropriate.


• Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.


• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times.


• Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.


• Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for residents.


• Work collaboratively with the wider care team to provide the highest standards of care.

Skills \& Experience

• Previous experience working within an elderly care home environment.


• Good understanding of care planning and person\-centred care.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Strong organisational and time management skills.


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.


• Compassionate, dependable, flexible, and self\-motivated.


• A professional approach with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
