Rosewood Manor is an elegant 70\-bed home situated in the idyllic market town of Market Harborough, purposefully built for its residents (equipped with its very own gin bar!). Providing residential and specialist dementia care, the fabulous team are currently seeking Care Assistants. Allocated to one floor to ensure the quality of care to residents, your primary focus is to ensure the happiness and independence of the residents in your care.

What you will receive as a Care Assistant (Days);

• £13\.61 per hour


• Full\-time, permanent contract


• 38\.5 hours per week on a rolling 6\-week rota


• 12 hours shifts, 3 on 3 off, 8am\-8pm


• Based in Market Harborough, LE16 9BZ

What you will receive as a Care Assistant (Nights);

• £14\.80 per hour


• Full\-time, permanent contract


• 38\.5 hours per week on a rolling 6\-week rota


• 12 hours shifts, 3 on 3 off, 8pm\-8am


• Based in Market Harborough, LE16 9BZ

What you will be doing as a Care Assistant;

• Support residents with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and maintaining personal hygiene


• Provide support at meal times


• Ensure residents maintain good nutrition


• Assist residents to mobilise safely around the home


• Undertake light housekeeping duties such as tidying residents’ rooms, making and changing beds, etc.


• Interacting with, and encouraging residents to socialise and take part in activities


• Liaise with other care professionals relating to the needs of the residents

What you will need to be successful as a Care Assistant;

• Experience working within a caring environment


• NVQ L2 in Direct Care


• The ability to communicate well and make others feel welcome and comfortable


• Supervisory and leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire


• Willingness to develop new skills
