Dundonald House is a warm, friendly and caring Home that specialises in promoting small group living with the Home being divided into small units with no more than 8/10 service users in a lounge or dining area. We are able to offer support to individuals who may require a complex range of care, whether this is due to physical and or mental impairment.

Most people require a range of services which must be adapted to their changing needs. These Services are offered over a 24 hour period at Dundonald House. We provide 24 hour Nursing Care, all our Nursing staff have extensive experience in providing care to older people and in particular Dementia Care.

Job description

Dundonald House is looking to recruit an experienced full time day duty care assistant to work alongside our dedicated staff group, caring for older people with a diagnosis of dementia.

You will be required to complete PVG Disclosure Scotland application, and to maintain registration with Scottish Social Services Council.

  • full time day duty post available

  • 38\.5 hours per week

  • stakeholder pension

  • in house training with support

  • experience preferred but not essential
