Part Time Commercial Cleaner

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, detail‑focused Common Area Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of shared spaces within residential blocks and commercial buildings. You’ll work as part of a 2 or 3 person team across multiple sites, following a set weekly schedule and delivering a consistent, high‑standard service that Property Managers can trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all internal common areas, including:


• Entrances, foyers, corridors, lifts, stairwells


• Internal glass, handrails, skirtings, and touchpoints


• Bin stores (where applicable)


• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas


• Remove litter and debris from internal and external entrance areas


• Check and report any maintenance issues, hazards, or security concerns


• Follow site‑specific cleaning specifications and compliance requirements


• Use company‑provided PPE and cleaning products safely and correctly

• Experience in commercial or common‑area cleaning (preferred but not essential)


• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards


• Ability to work as a team and manage time across multiple sites


• Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude


• Good communication skills for reporting issues and completing digital logs


• Physically able to carry out cleaning duties, including stairs and lifting and operation of cleaning equipment up to 8kg.

• Stable weekly hours (12–14 hours) over 2 days per week. Average working day 9am \- 330/4pm

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
