Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity


• Support individuals in creating and following personalized care plans tailored to their specific needs and preferences


• Provide companionship and effective communication to foster emotional well\-being and social engagement


• Help with medication management and basic health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals


• Maintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in condition using IT systems or paper documentation


• Communicate clearly with team members, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care effective


• Must have experience working in a care home or providing home care


• Have an NVQ level 2 in health \& social care or care certificate


• Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with clients, families, and colleagues


• Ability to use IT systems for documentation and care planning purposes


• A caring attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
