Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our care home team. The role involves providing high\-quality support and assistance to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. Duties

• Assisting residents with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders


• Supporting residents with meal preparation and feeding as required


• Maintaining accurate care plans tailored to individual needs


• Encouraging social interaction and participation in activities to promote mental and physical well\-being


• Monitoring residents’ health and reporting any concerns to senior staff promptly


• Ensuring the care environment is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times


• Communicating effectively with residents, their families, and team members to ensure personalised care delivery


• Assisting with transportation or outings outside the care home when necessary, including driving responsibilities if applicable

Experience

• Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates


• Knowledge of care plans and procedures related to elderly or vulnerable adults is advantageous


• Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation


• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues


• Ability to work as part of a team with a caring attitude towards residents’ needs.
