Care Assistant at Care Home (Days/Nights) 3 ON / 3 OFF ROTA

This is a full\-time role on a 3 days on / 3 days off rolling rota, working 8:00am – 8:00pm. For nights that is 3 nights on / 3 nights off rolling rota, working 8:00pm – 8:00am.

Day Care Assistant

Night Care Assistant
8:00pm – 8:00am
3 nights on / 3 nights off
Average 42 hours per week

Rate: Dependant on experience and qualifications. From £12\.71 to £13\.21

Weekend and bank holiday working required when they fall on your rota days

This role is suitable for applicants who can commit to a structured rolling rota. Applicants must be able to work the full 12\-hour shift pattern.

Duties Include

• Supporting residents with personal care


• Assisting with meals, fluids and nutrition


• Supporting mobility and safe moving and handling


• Maintaining residents’ dignity, privacy and independence


• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ needs


• Supporting activities and daily routines


• Completing care documentation as required


• Working as part of the care team under the direction of the Senior Care Assistant and Nurse on duty

Requirements

• Previous care experience preferred, but training can be provided


• Must be reliable, caring and professional


• Must be able to work 12\-hour shifts


• Must be able to work weekends as part of the rolling rota


• Good communication skills required


• Commitment to safeguarding, dignity and person\-centred care
