Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Care Administrator to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient information, and supporting clinical staff to ensure smooth operations within the care facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational and communication skills to contribute to high\-quality patient care in a professional environment. Responsibilities

  • Managing patient records and updating information accurately using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating care plans via Microsoft Outlook and other scheduling tools.

  • Communicating effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and external organisations to facilitate seamless service delivery.

  • Handling enquiries via phone, email, or in person with excellent customer service skills.

  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation related to patient care and administrative operations.

  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with data protection regulations.

  • Organising meetings, training sessions, and other administrative events efficiently.

  • Supporting IT systems and troubleshooting basic technical issues as required.
Qualifications
  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare or similar environment.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if necessary.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.

  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.

  • Good IT literacy with the ability to adapt to new software systems quickly.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment. This role is ideal for organised individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional support within a healthcare setting while developing their administrative expertise.
Pay: £12\.21\-£19\.96 per hour
