Car Sales Executive

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a premium franchise-approved car dealership in the Swindon area, for a New/Used Car Sales Executive to join their sales team.

• Basic salary of £21,000 per annum


• Uncapped on-target annual earnings of £54,000+ (subject to performance)

• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (bank holidays worked are compensated with a day off in lieu)

• 45-hour/5.5 day week, with rota-based Saturdays and one in two Sundays

Duties of the Car Sales Executive:

• Sell new and used cars, add-ons and accessories, and promote finance, insurance products, and warranties


• Achieve and exceed sales targets


• Keep customers informed of delivery progress and advise of any delays


• Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally as a Car Sales Executive


• Collect payment from customers before releasing vehicles in line with dealership process


• Explain warranty and service arrangements, introduce customers to the Service Department where possible, and demonstrate vehicle features


• Support customers with additional guidance and after-sales expectations

Requirements of the Car Sales Executive:

• Previous stable and consistent main dealership car sales background


• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ car sales experience in a similar franchise-approved environment


• Experience with premium/prestige brands and/or electric vehicles is highly beneficial but not essential


• Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Swindon, Wiltshire


• UK driving licence with minimal points


• Desire to deliver results, strong customer relationship skills, and a genuine passion for the brand
