Campervan Converter

Overview

We are looking for someone with experience in the campervan conversion industry, or the required skillset, to work alongside our experienced van conversion team in our workshop in Shipston on Stour, CV36 4QZ.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial vehicle conversions and will have worked in the automotive industry.

Upon success, the candidate will be working within our existing team and must be able to work using their own initiative, but also be able to follow instructions and have good communication skills.

As a skilled tradesperson, you will have experience constructing purpose\-built vehicles or fabrication and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.

The successful candidate will work as part of a friendly, experienced team who cover the entire fit\-out process. This starts at the pre fit out stage, stripping back a van to its shell, before beginning the conversion process into a bespoke campervan; demonstrating the ability to produce a high level of workmanship both as a team member and an individual.

The role will involve working on a variety of tasks throughout the fitting process, involving operating a range of power tools and hand tools for the different tasks.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

• Proven experience in coach building, fabrication or mechanics.


• A passion for crafting high\-quality products.


• Excellent attention to detail and precision in your work.


• Competent in the use of hand and power tools.


• Strong problem\-solving skills and adaptability in a fast\-paced environment.


• The ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy materials.


• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow within the company.

You will possess transferable skills, such as accuracy, consistency, common\-sense and efficiency and should have a diligent approach to your work. On a personal level you will be positive, flexible, co\-operative and be able to work to instructions provided by a line manager.

You must have a clean driving license.
