Café Supervisor

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Café Supervisor to support our Café Manager and Assistant Café Manager in the day\-to\-day running of our busy café. This is a hands\-on role, leading the front\-of\-house team during shifts and ensuring excellent customer service, smooth operations, and high presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily café operations and lead the front\-of\-house team during shifts.


• Deliver and promote exceptional customer service.


• Allocate tasks and support café assistants and baristas throughout service.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer experience.


• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or operational issues.


• Resolve customer queries and support the team in handling busy service periods.


• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, allergen, HACCP, and health \& safety procedures.


• Complete daily hygiene and safety checks.


• Assist with training, coaching, and developing team members.


• Support effective rota management and break scheduling.


• Ensure accurate use of tills and payment systems.


• Help minimise waste through good stock rotation and product management.


• Encourage product knowledge and upselling opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a café, hospitality, or food service supervisory role.


• A strong customer\-focused approach and passion for hospitality.


• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.


• Ability to remain calm, organised, and positive in a fast\-paced environment.


• Good understanding of food hygiene and health \& safety requirements.


• Reliable, proactive, and able to lead by example.


• Flexible approach to working weekends and busy seasonal periods.

Craigie’s is a seasonal business, and working hours may vary throughout the year. Shifts and hours may be reduced during quieter, off\-season periods.

Pay: Up to £13\.25 per hour
