Café Manager – Choux Bun Speciality Café
We are looking for a Café Manager to join our growing team at Choux Box for our new London café in Notting Hill.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, great customer service and creating a warm, welcoming café environment. We are looking for someone with positive energy, strong leadership skills and a genuine interest in helping us introduce our love of choux to the local community.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can confidently lead the front of house team, work positively with the kitchen team, uphold the standards and ethos of the business, and help make sure the café runs smoothly day to day.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in a busy café, bakery, restaurant or hospitality environment
- Previous experience in a supervisor, assistant manager or café manager role
- A genuine passion for attentive and welcoming customer service
- The ability to lead, support and motivate a front of house team
- Positive energy and a calm, professional approach
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience with rotas, stock control and ordering
- A good understanding of food hygiene, allergens and general café standards
- A hands\-on approach and willingness to lead from the floor
- A genuine interest in helping us build a connection with the local community
- The ability to understand and uphold the brand qualities and ethos of the business
- Leading and supporting the front of house team
- Creating a positive and welcoming environment for both customers and staff
- Delivering attentive, friendly and consistent customer service
- Managing staff rotas and supporting day\-to\-day staffing needs
- Placing orders and helping manage stock levels
- Overseeing the general running of the café
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service
- Making sure the café reflects the quality, tone and ethos of Choux Box at all times
- Working closely and positively with the kitchen team
- Training and supporting team members
- Handling customer feedback professionally
- Helping build relationships with regular customers and the local community
- Working closely with the founders, with regular check\-ins and updates on the running and development of the café
- Salary of £30,000–£34,000 per year, depending on experience

Choux Box is a growing independent patisserie specialising in choux buns.
We currently have three locations in Bath and are now opening our first London café. Everything we do is centred around choux, from our classic buns to weekly specials, we are all about fresh, delicous and quality products.
We are passionate about consistency, creativity and warm customer service. Our cafés are designed to feel welcoming, thoughtful and full of personality, and we are looking for someone who can help bring that same feeling to our new London, Notting Hill site.
This role would suit someone who loves hospitality, enjoys leading a team, and wants to be part of a growing business with a strong product, clear identity and exciting plans for the future.

- Full\-time
- Weekend availability required
- Early starts may be required depending on the needs of the café
£30,000–£34,000 per year, depending on experience
