Cafe Assistant Manager

ALMA. is looking for an Assistant Manager Part time for FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS FOR THE SUMMER.

English is essential as well as at least 2 years of experience in this role.

Key Requirements:

• Previous restaurant manager/supervisor experience essential


• Have experience within high\-volume of customers


• Be a hands\-on, natural leader who enjoys leading


• Able to give customers an experience not just a meal


• Passion for quality food \& drink


• Monitors HACCP standards and cleaning standards


• Strong communicator with a high level of initiative


• Must be available to work mornings, evenings and/or weekends


• Level\-headed/sensible and consistent in nature, trustworthy and reliable


• Ability to work flexibly under pressure with a good sense of humour


• Approachable with excellent people skills


• Superior customer service skills


• Strong understanding of business management


• Ability to effectively delegate responsibilities and maximise resources

• Setting up the restaurant to start the day


• Taking care of customers in a friendly and accommodating manner


• Food running and clearing/cleaning tables


• Preparing drinks and taking phone/online orders


• Work well with other team members effectively to ensure each shift runs smoothly


• Listen to feedback from Manager/ Owner on performance and make necessary improvements
