Job Overview
Sandea Wholesale Ltd is looking for a commercially aware and detail\-oriented Buying Assistant/Buyer to support procurement activities, supplier management, and stock planning. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product availability and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Source products and negotiate pricing with suppliers
- Raise purchase orders and monitor deliveries
- Monitor stock levels and forecast demand
- Analyse sales trends and product performance
- Support product range development and new product sourcing
- Maintain supplier records and pricing information
- Work closely with sales and warehouse teams to optimise stock availability
- Assist in managing inventory and reducing stock shortages
- Experience in buying, procurement, or purchasing preferred
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- FMCG, wholesale, or retail experience desirable
