Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision\-making processes across various departments. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualisation, and experience with a broad range of database and programming languages.

Duties

  • Analyse large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other relevant tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

  • Design and optimise databases in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.

  • Support business analysis activities by gathering requirements, documenting processes using Visio, and translating business needs into technical solutions.

  • Manage projects related to data analysis initiatives, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with SDLC principles.

  • Collaborate with cross\-functional teams on database design, system integration, and process improvements.

  • Utilise VBA and Bash (Unix shell) scripting to automate repetitive tasks and streamline data workflows.

  • Contribute to project management activities by planning, executing, and monitoring project progress.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, procedures, and analysis workflows.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

  • Proficiency in SQL (including Microsoft SQL Server), R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, and VBA.

  • Experience with database design principles in Oracle and other relational database management systems.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and project management practices.

  • Excellent business analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data into clear insights.

  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques alongside analysis skills for problem\-solving and decision support.

  • Familiarity with Visio for process mapping and documentation purposes.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
