Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results\-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth, increase revenue, and expand our customer base. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and enhancing the restaurant’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities (corporate clients, events, catering, partnerships,)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and key stakeholders
- Create and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue
- Drive bookings for private dining, events, and group reservations
- Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions, campaigns, and brand positioning
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Negotiate contracts, partnerships, and corporate deals
- Represent the restaurant at networking events and community functions
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management
- Work closely with operations to ensure service delivery meets client expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or hospitality management
- Strong understanding of the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
- Ability to meet targets and work in a fast\-paced environment
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, word
- Flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends if required
Desirable Skills
- Experience in restaurant marketing or event sales
- Existing network of corporate or local business contacts
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media promotion
