Business Transfer Sales Executive / Lead Generator

Due to the continued growth of Citrus Commercial Circle, we are now expanding our established Business Transfer Department, which specialises in helping business owners sell their businesses confidentially and professionally.

We are looking for confident, motivated and results\-driven salespeople to support this expansion and generate new business opportunities.

The role will primarily involve contacting business owners by telephone, introducing the services offered by Citrus and establishing whether they may be considering selling their business now or in the future.

You will qualify potential opportunities and arrange appointments for our experienced executives to meet business owners, discuss their requirements and secure instructions for Citrus to advertise and manage the sale of their businesses.

Main Responsibilities

\* Making outbound calls to business owners

\* Introducing Citrus and explaining our business\-transfer services

\* Identifying owners who may be considering selling

\* Building rapport and holding professional conversations

\* Asking appropriate questions to qualify each opportunity

\* Gathering accurate information about the business

\* Arranging appointments for our field\-based executives

\* Following up interested business owners

\* Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects

\* Recording all calls, notes and appointments accurately

\* Updating the company’s lead\-management system

\* Working closely with executives to improve appointment quality

\* Treating sensitive business information confidentially

\* Achieving agreed call, lead and appointment targets

The Ideal Candidate

\* Confident and professional telephone manner

\* Previous experience in telesales, lead generation or business development

\* Comfortable making outbound calls

\* Able to speak confidently with company directors and business owners

\* Persuasive without being overly forceful

\* Strong at building rapport and gaining trust

\* Organised, methodical and consistent

\* Able to ask good questions and listen carefully

\* Self\-motivated and target\-driven

\* Accurate when recording information and updating systems

\* Persistent, positive and comfortable handling objections

\* Able to work independently while contributing to the wider team

Experience within commercial property, estate agency, business brokerage, finance, insurance or professional services would be advantageous but is not essential. Full training will be provided to the right applicants.
