Location: Hybrid Worker – Expectation is two days per week on site at our Nottingham office

Contract type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: Offered on a starting salary of £ 51,704

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Business Readiness Manager to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.

As part of the Digital Experience team, reporting into the Principal Digital Business Readiness and Activation Manager, you will be responsible for the definition and implementation of business processes to successfully integrate our digital capability into both business and customer environment and driving adoption. You will be leading readiness and activation activities, ensuring our users are prepared for the changes, as well as creating materials to support the user experience once the change is implemented.

Every day you will …

  • Analyse business processes and stakeholders, mapping out and assessing areas of the organisation that will be impacted due change of current and future digital experience projects and change, for launch and release life cycle.

  • Conduct detailed gap analysis on areas of impact, understand and communicate risk of no action and effort required to deliver.

  • Define actions needed, owners, impacted users (internal and external), timeline and KPI’s to support implementation of digital experience changes at platform and/or feature level.

  • Ensure quality of implementation, monitoring and management to ensure timelines are met and escalate appropriately any blockers.

  • Produce detailed briefs for the creation of training materials and support tools to facilitate the changes/onboarding of new platform ways of working throughout the full change cycle, including working with teams to gather feedback to constantly improve these materials.

  • Regularly creating presentations and presenting confidently to multiple stakeholders and customers, amending content and context depending on the audience.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?

  • Expert written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining the vision and key messages of business readiness activities.

  • Ability to manage conflicting requests and priorities, as well as setting and delivering to realistic deadlines.

  • Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and a challenging workload in a fast\-paced environment.

  • Ability to give and receive information clearly and concisely and encourage open dialogue by listening and engaging to create ownership and commitment.

  • Experience working with trusts or in a similar environment with multiple stakeholders is preferred.

  • Understanding of ADKAR methodology or similar and how it is used to support business change.
