We are seeking a highly skilled Business Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various organisational units. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, extensive experience in project management methodologies, and exceptional communication skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing cross\-functional teams, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget, and maintaining stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple business projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

  • Supervise project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and collaboration.

  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.

  • Gather and define detailed requirements by liaising with stakeholders to ensure project scope is clear and achievable.

  • Utilise ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, or similar platforms for resource planning and data management.

  • Manage project schedules using software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet to track progress effectively.

  • Control project costs through diligent budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet financial targets.

  • Apply various project management methodologies including Waterfall, SAFe, or Agile frameworks like Jira or Confluence for efficient delivery.

  • Analyse data using SAS or other analytical tools to inform decision\-making processes.

  • Develop comprehensive reports and presentations using Visio or PowerPoint for stakeholder updates.

  • Maintain organised documentation within SharePoint or Content Management Systems for easy access and compliance.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in product management and content development.
Experience
  • Proven supervising experience in managing diverse project teams within a corporate environment.

  • Extensive knowledge of root cause analysis techniques coupled with strong problem\-solving skills.

  • Demonstrable team management experience with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

  • Skilled in requirements gathering, scope definition, and stakeholder engagement across multiple departments.

  • Hands\-on experience with ERP systems such as Workday or SAP; familiarity with project management software including MS Project, Primavera P6, Jira, or Smartsheet is essential.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

  • Expertise in cost control measures and budget management practices.

  • Leadership qualities complemented by excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience working within frameworks like SAFe or Waterfall; familiarity with product development processes is advantageous.

  • Data analysis skills using SAS or similar tools; proficiency in Visio for process mapping is preferred.

  • Knowledge of content management systems such as SharePoint or ServiceNow; experience with Salesforce is a plus. This role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to contribute strategically while managing complex projects that impact organisational growth and efficiency.
Pay: £30,420\.00\-£48,000\.00 per year
