Are you a confident business development professional who enjoys building strong relationships and turning opportunities into successful outcomes?

We’re looking for a Business Development Partnership Consultant to join our Commercial Team and help grow employer\-led income across apprenticeships, adult skills, commercial training and higher education. You’ll build and develop relationships with businesses across Swindon, Wiltshire and beyond, helping employers find the right training solutions for their needs.

What you'll do
------------------

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with employers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Promote New College Swindon as a leading training provider for employers.

  • Deliver presentations and pitches to secure new business.

  • Manage client relationships and maximise repeat business opportunities.

  • Carry out Training Needs Analysis to identify training and development opportunities.

  • Work with College teams to raise awareness of apprenticeships and support effective employer and learner onboarding.

  • Maintain accurate client records and activity on the College CRM.

  • Attend networking, employer and College events to develop new opportunities.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Curriculum, Adult and HE teams to provide a seamless service to customers.
What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in business development, sales or a target\-driven environment.

  • A strong track record of sourcing prospects and achieving agreed targets.

  • Excellent client management and relationship\-building skills.

  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage people at all levels.

  • A proactive, motivated and tenacious approach, with a focus on achieving results.

  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering quality.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English, or equivalent.

  • Experience selling apprenticeships or educational products would be desirable.

  • A Level 3 qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business or a relevant area would be desirable.

  • An interest in and passion for education, training and professional development.
