Business Development Manager
Job Summary
Toplink Cleaning Services Ltd is a growing cleaning and property support company providing domestic cleaning, commercial cleaning, office cleaning, end\-of\-tenancy cleaning, deep cleaning, and specialist cleaning services across West Yorkshire.
As part of our growth plans, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, secure commercial contracts, develop strategic partnerships, and support the long\-term expansion of the business.
This is a key role within the company and will work directly with senior management to increase revenue, strengthen our market presence, and build long\-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and property management sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with landlords, letting agents, estate agents, property management companies, housing providers, care providers, serviced accommodation operators, and commercial organisations.
- Generate new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, market research, direct outreach, and relationship building.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and tender submissions for prospective clients.
- Negotiate service agreements and commercial terms with new and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and contract opportunities.
- Work closely with management to implement business development and growth strategies.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and emerging trends.
- Attend client meetings, networking events, trade events, and business development activities to promote the company's services.
- Support contract mobilisation and client onboarding following successful contract awards.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activity, sales performance, and pipeline opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on contract opportunities, revenue generation, and business development performance.
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts and increase recurring revenue.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in business development, sales, account management, or commercial growth roles.
- Proven track record of securing new business opportunities and generating revenue growth.
- Experience developing and managing commercial client relationships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent networking and relationship\-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong organisational and time\-management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Desirable
- Experience within the cleaning, facilities management, property services, healthcare, hospitality, or related sectors.
- Experience working with landlords, estate agents, letting agents, housing providers, property management companies, or facilities management organisations.
- Experience preparing tender submissions and managing contract negotiations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
