Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will play a key role in driving new business growth by identifying, engaging, and converting prospective clients into long\-term customers.

This role is both commercially and technically focused, requiring the ability to manage complex sales cycles, engage multiple stakeholders, and close mid\-market to enterprise deals.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of the sales process, from lead generation through to contract and go\-live, while delivering against a £250k\+ Year 1 revenue

Day to day this role will
-----------------------------

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, events, and networking.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close and implementation.

  • Qualify inbound opportunities by assessing customer needs and prioritizing high\-potential leads for the sales pipeline.

  • Conduct structured discovery to understand client needs and business objectives

  • Develop and present tailored commercial proposals aligned to client requirements.

  • Negotiate commercial agreements with UK and international clients.

  • Engage and manage multiple stakeholders across client organisations.

  • Work closely with internal teams including Product, Marketing, and Brand teams.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline with accurate forecasting in CRM.

  • Represent Tillo at relevant industry events to promote the brand and generate leads.

  • Deliver against a £250k\+ annual new business revenue target in year 1
What we’re looking for
--------------------------

Essential


  • 3–6\+ years’ experience in B2B sales (SaaS, fintech, payments, or API\-based platforms).

  • Proven track record of achieving £200k–£500k\+ annual sales targets.

  • Experience managing full sales cycles from prospecting to close.

  • Strong commercial negotiation skills and ability to manage complex, multi\-stakeholder sales processes.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions clearly.

  • Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot.

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast\-paced, high\-growth environment.

Desirable


  • Experience in gift cards, rewards, incentives, or loyalty sectors

  • Exposure to global or international sales environments

  • Additional European language skills
