Job Summary
Shrivi Limited run an exclusive warehouse for sourcing high\-quality village foods and grains from Andhra Pradesh Indian villages. We have established a brand and supply Retailers' Groceries and Premium Restaurants.
We are seeking a proactive and results\-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for (a) Scaling the businesses in Midlands, (b) identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue growth. (c) working with other supply chain and partnership to expand our opportunities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organisational expansion whilst working in a collaborative environment. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, experience with CRM software, and a strategic mindset to develop innovative approaches for market penetration.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the organisation’s client base with organic foods and supplies.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to prospective clients’ needs and presentations at Food Expos and Marketing Events to place our brands.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimise outreach strategies. and Reduce Grain wastages, and engagement in Circular economy ideas.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software such as Salesforce.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the organisation’s services.
- Graduate Qualification with Specialisation in Supply Chain and Marketing. UK Degrees preferred.
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within a related industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce, for managing client information and sales pipelines.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market data and identify opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with a drive for achieving targets and delivering results.
