Salary: Basic £50\-55k (DOE) \+ £20k on target bonus \+ Car Package
Mayflower Washroom Solutions, part of the phs Group, is a leading national supplier of washroom, hygiene, janitorial and workplace consumable solutions. We're looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate our growth across the UK.
This is a genuine new business sales role, focused on winning high\-value customers with annual spend potential of £50,000\+. You'll identify opportunities, open doors, build senior stakeholder relationships and secure profitable long\-term partnerships across a range of sectors. Working with organisations nationwide, you'll help customers improve efficiency, streamline procurement and access high\-quality consumable and hygiene solutions, while delivering sustainable revenue growth for the business.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the UK.
- Targeting medium and large organisations with annual spend potential exceeding £50,000\.
- Building relationships with procurement, facilities management, operations teams and senior decision\-makers.
- Creating and delivering compelling proposals and commercial solutions.
- Conducting customer meetings and site visits to understand requirements and identify opportunities.
- Managing a healthy pipeline of opportunities through to successful contract award.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure commercially successful solutions for customers.
- You'll target organisations across sectors including; Facilities Management, Contract Cleaning, Transport, Hospitality and Leisure (HoReCa), Education, Government and Public Sector, Multi\-site commercial organisations.
- Minimum 5 years' successful B2B field sales experience.
- Proven track record of winning and developing significant new business accounts.
- Experience within one or more of the following; Janitorial Supplies, Hygiene Solutions, FM, Workplace Consumables, Cleaning Products, Industrial Consumables
- Experience selling into multi\-site and national organisations.
- Demonstrable success securing accounts worth £50,000\+ annually.
- Natural hunter mentality with a passion for winning.
- Strong presentation and proposal\-writing capabilities.
- Strategic and consultative approach to sales.
- Strong relationship\-building skills with executive\-level stakeholders.
- Base salary of £50\-55k (DOE) plus on target bonus of £20k
