Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal applicant will have experience with Salesforce and CRM software, demonstrating a keen ability to analyse market trends and develop targeted strategies.
Responsibilities
- Identify new local business opportunities to increase restaurant sales and customer visits.
- Build relationships with nearby businesses, clients, partners and regular customers.
- Promote catering orders, group bookings and small private events.
- Create and support simple promotional offers to attract new and returning customers.
- Follow up with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat bookings.
- Monitor customer feedback, local demand, competitors and market trends.
- Work with management and marketing teams to improve sales and brand awareness.
- Maintain records of enquiries, bookings, customer contacts and sales activity.
- Report business development progress and customer trends to management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyse market data and develop strategic plans based on insights gathered.
- Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive attitude with a results\-driven approach.
