Business Development Manager – East Midlands
Business Development Manager – East Midlands
Beartown Brewery \| Field\-Based \| Remote
*Starting from £30,000 but commensurate with experience.*
Beartown Brewery has been brewing quality beer since 1994, out of a small town in Cheshire with a very big story to tell. 32 years in, we're still independent, still community\-first, and we're not slowing down.
We've already got a foothold in the East Midlands with some strong accounts, some good relationships and some real momentum, but what we need now is someone who'll roll their sleeves up, build on what's there, and turn "a few good accounts" into "the region knows Beartown."
If you know your on\-trade from your off\-trade, you've got a black book worth having, and you want to build something rather than just manage it, keep reading.
The Role
As our Business Development Manager for the East Midlands, you'll own the region. That means:
- Growing and developing our existing accounts across the East Midlands
- Opening doors we haven't knocked on yet \- new pubs, bars, retailers, and venues who need Beartown on their bar
- Building real relationships, not just taking orders (this is a trade built on people, and you'll be one of ours)
- Representing the brand properly: bold, honest, community\-minded, no corporate nonsense
- Managing your own patch, your own diary, your own priorities
Who We're Looking For
- You've worked in the craft beer industry (or drinks trade more broadly) and you know it inside out
- You already know people \- buyers, publicans, venue owners \- in the East Midlands
- You can build a relationship and close a deal properly
- You're self\-motivated enough to manage your own desk and organised enough that nothing falls through the cracks
- You genuinely care about quality beer and the people who drink it
- Competitive salary
- Strong bonus structure — rewarded for growth, not just presence
- Car allowance
- Remote, field\-based working \- manage your own diary and your own region
- The backing of an independent brewery with 32 years of reputation behind it, and genuine ambition to become a national name
If you've read this and thought "yeah, that's me" , we want to hear from you.
Beartown isn't somewhere you visit. It's somewhere you belong. Come and help us bring that to the East Midlands.
