Business Development Manager (BDM)
Astor Media is looking for a commercially driven business development manager to help grow revenue across its expanding portfolio of B2B media brands.
This is a new business\-focused role selling advertising, sponsorship, content partnerships, events, lead generation and integrated campaigns across titles including The Intermediary, Business Motoring, Business Vans and Motor Trade News.
You will be expected to build and manage your own pipeline, identify opportunities, secure meetings, pitch commercially and consistently convert activity into revenue. This is not an account management role disguised as sales. We want someone who enjoys hunting for business, opening doors and building relationships.
The role will involve selling across digital advertising, newsletters, sponsored content, podcasts, webinars, awards, events, social media and bespoke commercial partnerships.
You will work closely with senior management and editorial teams across the group while representing Astor Media at industry events, networking functions and client meetings across the UK.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in B2B media, publishing, events, recruitment or advertising sales
A proven track record in new business development
Strong communication and presentation skills
Confidence pitching to senior decision\-makers
A proactive and self\-motivated approach
The ability to manage a sales pipeline independently
A commercial mindset with strong attention to detail
Experience within automotive, financial services or workplace sectors would be an advantage but is not essential.

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£36,000\.00 per year
