A leading international law firm is seeking a commercially minded, hands-on Business Development Manager to join on a 9-month maternity cover.
Working closely with Partners and a Senior BD Manager, the successful candidate will drive client and market growth across Financial Services and Corporate M&A. This is a fast-paced, strategic and delivery-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives on turning insight into action.
Key focus areas:
- Delivering sector and practice BD plans with clear, measurable outcomes
- Driving client development, cross-selling, and revenue growth
- Leading high-quality pitches and proposals
- Using data and market insight to identify opportunities
- Collaborating across teams to execute campaigns, events, and initiatives
- Experienced BD professional (ideally within professional services)
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Proven track record in pitches, client development, and strategic planning
- Highly organised, proactive, and commercially focused
- Confident working with senior stakeholders in a partnership environment
