We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and ambitious individual to join our team as a Business Development Executive.

Whether you're looking to take your first step into sales, change careers, or already have some commercial experience, we'd love to hear from you. We're far more interested in attitude, drive, and personality than a perfect CV. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long\-term career in business development.

This role would suit someone who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and uncovering opportunities. You'll need to be proactive, organised, and resilient, with the confidence to pick up the phone and start conversations with potential customers.

What You'll Be Doing

Your role will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities while building long\-term relationships with customers.

Unlike many sales roles, you'll be joining a business with a wealth of existing opportunities. In addition to generating new business, you'll have access to a substantial database of previous and dormant customer accounts, giving you plenty of opportunities to reconnect with businesses that already know our company and services.

Day\-to\-day responsibilities will include:

  • Researching potential customers, sectors, and opportunities

  • Contacting prospective clients by phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels

  • Re\-engaging dormant and historic customer accounts

  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

  • Understanding customer requirements and identifying suitable solutions

  • Keeping accurate records of all activity and communications

  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service

  • Developing opportunities into long\-term profitable accounts
A Role for Relationship Builders

This isn't a high\-pressure call centre environment focused solely on volume. Success in this role comes from building genuine relationships, understanding customer needs, and developing trust over time.

Not every conversation will result in a sale, and occasionally you'll face rejection or be told "not right now." We're looking for someone who can remain positive, professional, and motivated, understanding that persistence and consistency are key to long\-term success.

Industry Experience

Experience in sales, customer service, account management, or business development would be beneficial but is not essential.

Knowledge of the print industry would be advantageous, but full training will be provided. We are happy to invest in the right person if they bring the enthusiasm, attitude, and willingness to learn that we're looking for.
