We are looking for a talented Business Development Associate to join our team specializing in Sales for our Power Systems Business in Europe.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support Business Development Managers responsible for multiple futures accounts across several countries, contributing to business growth and market expansion.
- Identify, qualify, and support the development of new business opportunities across data centre, hyperscale, and critical infrastructure customers.
- Compile early\-stage technical and commercial concepts, budgets, and high\-level business cases by gathering and structuring technical data, supplier inputs, lead times, costing assumptions, and market benchmarks.
- Perform technical and commercial analysis of suppliers (e.g. enclosures, switchgear, fuel systems, BOP), including comparison of solutions, risks, lead times, and competitiveness.
- Support pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and forecasting activities, ensuring strong visibility across regions and stakeholders.
- Coordinate technical and commercial discussions between customers, internal engineering teams, and external suppliers to support solution definition.
- Facilitate cross\-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, sourcing, logistics, finance, legal, and service teams.
- Contribute to contract preparation and negotiation by coordinating legal review, supporting commercial discussions, and ensuring alignment of terms and conditions.
- Support credit validation processes in collaboration with finance teams, ensuring compliance with internal risk and approval frameworks.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops, and business reviews across multiple countries, supporting Business Development Managers.
- Prepare high\-quality presentations, market analyses, and strategic documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and communicate opportunity status, risks, and key developments across accounts and regions.
- Ability to operate as a commercial and technical extension of the Business Development Managers, combining market analysis, technical coordination, and commercial structuring.
- Strong capability to analyze complex technical and commercial environments, including supplier ecosystems and integrated solutions.
- Experience or exposure to contract negotiation processes, legal coordination, and commercial risk management.
- Understanding of financial processes including credit validation, commercial approvals, and risk mitigation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple countries and functions.
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced, international, and highly technical environment.
- College, university, or equivalent degree in engineering, technical, or a related discipline.
- Technical or engineering background strongly preferred.
- Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Additional European languages are a plus.
- Exposure to data centre, power generation, or complex project\-based environments is preferred.
