We are seeking a proactive and organised Business Development Assistant to support our Business Development Manager in driving growth across within our chemical manufacturing facility based in Deeside.
The successful candidate will play a key role in handling sales enquiries, coordinating customer projects, maintaining CRM data, preparing quotations, managing sample requests and supporting the sales activities. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in sales and account management within a business\-to\-business setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Business Development Manager with responding to incoming enquires.
- Qualifying inbound enquiries and ensuring timely follow\-ups to push qualified leads through our sales funnel.
- Assist with preparation of customer quotations, presentations and proposals.
- Maintain and update customer records within the CRM system.
- Liaise with internal departments including: Technical, Supply Chain and Quality to service customer requests.
- Follow up on outstanding opportunities within CRM.
- Assist in onboarding new customers through our internal processes.
- Act as a point of contact for existing customers.
- Support customer communication throughout the sales process.
- Assist in maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Support content gathering for case studies, customer success stories, and marketing campaigns.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects of different sizes and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of quotations, pricing structures, and commercial processes.
- Experience in sales, customer service or account management teams.
- Positive attitude.
- Commercially minded and customer\-focused.
- Strong problem\-solving skills.
- Willing to learn and develop within a growing business.
Pay: £32,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
