Business Developer Executive
The Role
This is your opportunity to launch a fast\-track sales career at one of the UK's most dynamic B2B events companies. You'll be at the epicentre of a high\-octane sponsorship engine, driving partnerships with leading tech brands who are hungry to connect with genuine decision\-makers.
EDS Xseries runs invitation\-only, curated single\-day summits for C\-suite technology leaders, CIOs, CISOs, CDOs, across 21 global locations. Every year, we bring together over 10,000 senior executives. Your job is to unlock the commercial potential by connecting technology companies (think CMOs and VPs Marketing) with an audience they can't access anywhere else.
Three channels. One mission. You'll blend email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and phone outreach into a coordinated, multi\-touch sequence. The goal? 15 held meetings per month, each one a genuine sponsorship opportunity waiting to happen. This isn't about volume for volume's sake; it's about quality conversations with the right decision\-makers.
What You'll Be Doing
● Identify and build target lists, mapping marketing leaders at tech companies whose audience overlaps with our CIOX, CISOX, CDOX and Xperiential events
● Run structured, multi\-touch outreach, combining email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and phone into a coordinated sequence per prospect
● Qualify each prospect before booking, so meetings are based on genuine interest rather than just filling the calendar
● Own the full booking\-to\-attendance journey: confirming, reminding and following up so the meeting actually happens
● Keep CRM data accurate and up to date, including stages, notes and next actions
● Share what you learn with the team, including objections, messaging that's working, and patterns worth flagging
What We're Looking For
● Comfortable making calls regularly, as this isn't an email\-only role
● A clear, concise writer who can avoid messaging that reads like a generic template
● Organised enough to manage a multi\-channel outreach sequence without losing track of prospects
● Curious about tech marketing, with an understanding of what a CMO or VP Marketing is generally focused on
● Motivated by a commission structure that rewards results rather than activity for its own sake
