Business Analyst (f/m/d)

As a Business Analyst at Axpo, you will play a vital role in driving efficiency, reducing operational risks, and supporting strategic projects within the Axpo Solutions Group. What you will do:

• Support the invoicing processes for Full Supply and PPA business.


• Coordinate with Market Operations (MO), Front Office Services (FOS), and Front Office (FO) to ensure seamless contract onboarding into internal systems.


• Reduce operational risks and enhance efficiency by implementing strategic decisions within Back Office Services and Business Support teams.


• Lead and support individual business transformation and strategic projects.


• Analyze processes, tackle complex P\&L inquiries, and resolve operational challenges to ensure smooth daily delivery.


• Collaborate on IT specifications and manage IT changes for Back Office Services.


• Drive automation, quality improvements, and lead\-time optimizations using your technical expertise.


• Develop and maintain management reporting tools (e.g. KPI reports) and contribute to development and design of invoicing system.


• Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely implementation.

What you bring \& who you are:

• Education \& Experience:

+ Higher education in Business Management or Information Technology.
+ At least 3 years of relevant experience in energy trading and sales.
+ Business fluency in English (C1/C2\); additional European languages are a plus.

• Technical Expertise:

+ Strong knowledge of energy and financial markets (e.g., contract mapping, trading products, financial settlements, collaterals, and margins).
+ Expertise in deal lifecycle management for Full Supply and PPA business, including deal booking, contract modeling, and invoicing.
+ Proficiency in data analysis and coding (e.g., SQL, C\#, Python).
+ Experience with BI tools like PowerBI or SSRS for data visualization and analysis.
+ Familiarity with ETL development tools (e.g., Visual Studio, DATAIKU) is a plus.

• Other Skills:

+ Strong problem\-solving, communication, and stakeholder alignment abilities.
+ High customer and result orientation, even under time pressure.
+ Ability to balance compliance and innovation effectively.
