Business Analyst - Detillens
About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, inquisitive Business Analyst to join an exciting financial services organisation in Glasgow. If you thrive at the intersection of data, technology, and business change—and you enjoy working closely with finance teams to modernise processes—this role will feel like home.
You’ll play a key part in shaping and delivering a range of initiatives, from data-driven transformation to system migrations and process modernisation. This is a hands-on role where your insight will directly influence how we operate and how our finance stakeholders make decisions.
What You’ll Do
Partner with finance teams to understand business needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation for change and transformation projects.
Support data initiatives, including reporting enhancements, data quality improvements, and analytics workstreams.
Work with Power BI dashboards and reporting to help stakeholders turn data into actionable insight.
Contribute to system migration and modernisation programmes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and SMEs to ensure solutions are delivered on time and aligned with business goals.
Champion continuous improvement and help embed best practice across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services or a similar regulated environment.
Strong background working with finance teams—you understand their processes, pressures, and priorities.
Solid experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation (Power BI experience is a strong advantage).
A track record of supporting change, transformation, or migration projects.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical detail into business language.
