Birmingham | Full-Time | Circa £30,000 (or hourly equivalent)

We are currently recruiting for a Bursar’s Assistant to join a welcoming and well-run school in Birmingham. This is a 3-month temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a varied role across HR administration, safeguarding, and wider operational support.

Working closely with the Bursar and senior leadership team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing contracts and HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

  • Maintaining HR, safeguarding, and compliance records (including the Single Central Register)

  • Keeping all compliance documentation up to date and aligned with regulations

  • Providing general administrative support across the Bursary function

  • Supporting reception cover when required

What We’re Looking For
  • Highly organised, reliable, and able to work independently

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information

  • Confident communicator with a proactive approach

  • Previous HR or administrative experience desirable
