We are looking for a Building Services Engineer to join the team at the Westfield Shopping Centre contract, one of the largest shopping centre environments in Europe.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to play a key role in maintaining critical building services and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled engineer with experience in commercial FM environments, who can confidently deliver both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across a large, fast\-paced site.
The successful candidate will work closely with the wider engineering team to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on building services equipment to minimise downtime.
- Inspect, test and maintain electrical assets including lighting, power and distribution systems.
- Service and maintain mechanical plant including HVAC systems, pumps, air handling units, boilers and chillers.
- Complete maintenance records, reports and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Liaise effectively with colleagues, contractors and site stakeholders to support service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and energy efficiency.
- Previous experience working within commercial FM, building services or a similar environment.
- Strong fault\-finding and problem\-solving skills.
- Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
- A good understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements.
Essential or desirable qualifications include:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- NVQ or City \& Guilds qualification in Electrical Installation or a related discipline.
- Mechanical engineering, heating and ventilation, or building services qualifications are advantageous.
- IOSH, IPAF or PASMA certifications would be beneficial.
