Breakfast Chef (Builders Yard)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Breakfast Manager to oversee the morning prep and service at a Kanteen space we have secured Stoneyard Building site, in Digbeth.

• Oversee all aspects of breakfast service, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation


• Coordinate daily operations to ensure timely and efficient service during busy morning hours


• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulatory requirements


• Manage food production processes, including ordering supplies and stock control


• Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving to guests


• Handle guest enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times


• Assist in menu planning and introduce new breakfast offerings to enhance guest experience


• Monitor cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supervising or managing within a restaurant or hospitality environment


• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations


• Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures


• Experience in team management with excellent leadership qualities


• Familiarity with restaurant or hotel service standards, particularly breakfast service


• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods


• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail


• Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef, barista, or food production is advantageous


• Hospitality experience including serving guests and managing a team in a fast\-paced setting is preferred

Hours at set from 7am to 3\.30pm Mon to Friday

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: £12\.50\-£13\.00 per hour
