Are you a passionate, caring Beauty Therapist looking to develop your career within a professional medical environment?

The Minster Clinic is an established medical and aesthetic clinic in York, renowned for providing outstanding patient care in dermatology, minor surgery and advanced skin treatments. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Beauty Therapist to join our friendly, close\-knit team on a part\-time basis (Wednesdays and Fridays).

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced medical professionals while expanding your skills in advanced aesthetic treatments through comprehensive in\-house training.

The Role

As part of our team, you will deliver a range of advanced aesthetic treatments to a high clinical standard, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care and a positive experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing advanced skin treatments including:


• HydraFacial®


• Microneedling


• Laser skin resurfacing


• AviClear® laser treatment for acne


• Acne scar treatments


• Skin tightening using Tixel®


• Delivering personalised consultations and treatment plans under clinic protocols.


• Assisting our medical team during minor surgical procedures when required.


• Supporting instrument decontamination and maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and control.


• Ensuring accurate clinical records are maintained.


• Providing outstanding patient care before, during and after treatment.

Full training will be provided for our specialist treatments and equipment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is professional, compassionate and genuinely enjoys helping patients achieve healthier skin and greater confidence.

Ideally, you will have:

• NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy (essential)


• Previous experience with laser treatments (preferred)


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• A caring, friendly and professional manner


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care


• The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a small team


• A willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing professional development


• High standards of professionalism, integrity and reliability

As a medically regulated clinic, all practitioners are expected to adhere to our policies relating to infection prevention and control, health and safety, patient consent, confidentiality and data protection.
