Bathroom Designer / Showroom Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Bathroom Designer / Showroom Consultant to support customers through the full bathroom design and sales journey. This is a hands\-on role suited to someone who enjoys working directly with customers, creating practical and attractive bathroom designs, managing enquiries, supporting sales and helping to develop the showroom into a professional, welcoming and commercially successful space.

Key Responsibilities

· Welcome customers into the showroom and provide a professional, consultative design service.

· Understand customer requirements, style preferences, budgets, timelines and practical constraints.

· Create bathroom designs, layouts and visual concepts using bathroom design software.

· Prepare accurate plans, product schedules and quotations to support customer decision\-making.

· Recommend suitable bathroom products, furniture, tiles, brassware, showers and accessories.

· Help shape the showroom layout, displays, product presentation and customer journey.

· Manage customer enquiries from initial consultation through to quote, order and follow\-up.

· Work closely with suppliers, installers and internal colleagues to ensure a smooth customer experience.

· Maintain a high standard of showroom presentation, housekeeping and product knowledge.

· Support sales growth by converting enquiries into orders and building strong customer relationships.

· Take ownership of a varied, hands\-on role in a growing new business.

Experience and Skills Required

· Previous experience in bathroom design, kitchen and bathroom retail, interiors, tiles, plumbing, merchanting or a similar showroom environment.

· Confident using bathroom design or CAD software to create customer\-ready layouts and visuals.

· Experience with popular bathroom design platforms such as Virtual Worlds, Innoplus / Compusoft, ArtiCAD, Fusion, Winner, EQ, AutoCAD, SketchUp, SmartDraw or similar systems would be advantageous.

· Good knowledge of leading bathroom brands across products such as sanitaryware, furniture, brassware, showers, enclosures, tiles and accessories.

· Understanding of the bathroom supply chain, including working with wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers and supplier networks to support pricing, availability, ordering and delivery expectations.

· Strong customer service and consultative selling skills.

· Good commercial awareness, with the ability to work towards sales targets and on\-target earnings.

· Excellent attention to detail when preparing designs, quotations and customer information.

· Strong communication skills and the confidence to guide customers through design decisions.

· Practical understanding of bathroom products, room layouts, installation considerations and measurements.

· Organised, reliable and comfortable managing multiple customer enquiries at once.

· Positive, proactive and willing to get involved in all areas of a start\-up showroom environment.

The ideal candidate will be personable, creative, commercially minded and highly hands\-on. You will be comfortable working in a customer\-facing showroom, confident producing bathroom designs and motivated by the opportunity to help grow a new business from the ground up. This role would suit someone who can combine design flair with practical product knowledge and a strong focus on customer service.

Pay: £25,420\.00\-£34,000\.00 per year
