HR & Recruitment Officer
Part\-time role: 15 hours per week (equivalent to £10,800 per annum).
We are looking for an experienced HR professional support the day to day demands of the HR \& Recruitment Department and work on the strategic plans around employee relations, workforce planning, equality \& diversity, training \& development and wellbeing.
HR
- Understand future changes to employment law and work with our leadership team to ensure they develop a deep understanding of future legislative changes and their impact on the organisation.
- Implement continuous improvement with a strong focus on engagement and welfare, maximising productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability.
- Work with our Directors to support the organisations growth, performance and future objectives.
- To act as a role model, display \& represent the organisations' values and ethos in all activities and communications.
- Drive employee engagement through a collaborative and empowering management approach.
- To provide support and guidance to the leadership team when managing employee relations cases and oversee our processes and outcomes.
Support the recruitment activities across the organisation, providing leadership and support to optimise recruitment processes and procedures.
- Research and choose job advertising options which work best for our organisation.
- Act as a point of contact for some resourcing issues and matters.
- Build talent pipelines and pools of skilled candidates for current and future job openings.
- Forecast hiring needs based on the organisation’s growth plans.
- Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our organisation.
- Support with all stages of the onboarding experience including shortlisting and interviewing
Essential Qualifications \& Experience
- Good knowledge of human resource legislation and employment law.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem\-solving.
- Highly organised and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels, promoting trust and a partnership approach
- In\-depth knowledge of recruiting, compliance, onboarding/offboarding and employer branding techniques.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast\-paced and evolving environment
- Previous HR and Recruitment Experience
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the business needs
· Experience working within CQC registered provisions and an understanding of the HR \& Recruitment and Training and Development implications.
Additional Duties
Due to the nature of the work of Great Minds Together, tasks and responsibilities are, in many circumstances, unpredictable and varied and may include weekend and evening working. All staff are, therefore, expected to work in a flexible way when the occasion arises, when tasks not specifically covered in their job description must be undertaken. These additional duties will normally be to cover unforeseen circumstances or changes in work, and they will normally be compatible with the regular type of work. If the additional responsibility or task becomes a regular or frequent part of the member of staff’s job, it will be included in the job description in consultation with the member of staff.
Pay: £13\.85 per hour
Expected hours: 15\.0 per week
